I enjoyed every detail about my really good 1 night stay here. The family room had basic facilities you need, a fireplace, central heating and an iron with ironing board. The hotel was in a central setting right by the lake.

Everything was perfect, good service, beautiful location not far from the lakes for getting around, windermere.

The reason we really enjoyed it was superb staff and location.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was slow.

It was a pleasant stay, the best I had before. Liked to be here, the hotel was fairly clean and original, the location was unbeatable right opposite footpath round Rydal water. The staff were best and efficient, they offered an exceptional service.

Grounds were kept immaculately clean, breakfast was above average. Contemporary well furnished rooms, efficient staff, perfect location.

There were too small beds.

We loved a clean restaurant.

I liked its staff and location, lovely building. The room was huge with a single bed.

Cosy fairly clean property, it has courteous stuff in a perfect manner always asking if everything & everyone was ok. It has central location, however the area is awful.

A picture perfect place, we appreciated its brilliant location. Food was gorgeous and their restaurant was stunning.

Food was delightful, drinks were hot. Peaceful location so close to amazing Lakes. .

Breakfast was delightful, bed was perfect, lively area.

Cosy location, happy team, they made me feel welcome. The beach nearby was fantastic and the view was mesmerizing. Updated room, soft bed and pillows.

Wi-Fi was weak, made me a little nervous.

Great weekend in this perfect area. Also, Rydal Mount Museum was 5 km away. Bed was amazing, I enjoyed it.

The staff was faultless and the location was super - altogether a really comfortable experience. Appreciated Ambleside, the hotel was absolutely amazing right by the lake. We stayed in a warm room with comfortable bedroom.

Prime location, wonderful breakfast with lots of food.

This hotel was satisfying, I liked its exceptional staff and location. The bedroom was separate and the bed was very very comfy. Captivating views and small garden. Such wonderful stay in the beautiful area.

gorgeous place, you know. the location was incredible - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. we greatly enjoyed having breakfast in the bar.

The hotel is very clean, the room is large, the people are really pleasant. For breakfast there were cereal and fresh fruit. Think that Glen Rothay is beyond compare.

Bed was comfy, staff were LOYAL. The location of this hotel was marvelous.
